Help Us Maintain Clean Recovery Spaces for Wisconsin Wildlife

Our wildlife patients rely on clean, natural outdoor enclosures as part of their rehabilitation. We are undertaking a large maintenance project to replace the substrate (the flooring) in these enclosures, ensuring they remain in excellent condition for the animals in our care.

We’re looking for volunteers to help us complete this important project on October 10th and 11th.

To register call us at 262-965-3090 and leave us a voicemail with your name, number, and day you plan on volunteering, or fill out this form: Substrate Change Volunteer Form

Please bring, if possible:

  • Wheelbarrow
  • Shovel (flat-edge preferred)
  • Work gloves
  • Sturdy footwear (required)

Important Information:

  • All volunteers must sign a release waiver upon arrival
  • Volunteers ages 16-17 must be accompanied by an adult
  • Water will be available all day
  • Lunch will be provided for volunteers who work the full day

Whether you can help for an hour or stay the entire day, every helping hand makes a difference for the wildlife we serve.
