The Wildlife In Need Center (WINC) cordially invites everyone to our 30th Anniversary Celebration Summer Meet and Greet on Saturday, July 27th, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at WINC.
Since 1994, WINC has provided essential life-saving care for injured, orphaned, and sick wildlife for 69,700 animals. Our wildlife education programs, and animal ambassadors continue to meet the demand, delivering over 100 programs a year reaching over 25,000 people. None of this would have been possible without the incredible support from our generous community.
Event Highlights:
- Meet Our Wildlife Ambassadors:Come in person to meet our fascinating Wildlife Animal Ambassadors. Learn their stories and discover fun facts about their species.
- Bird Walk:Join us for a morning bird walk on the trails by WINC.
- Book Signing:Authors will be signing wildlife-related books on the patio.
- Raffle:Enter our raffle for a chance to win exciting prizes.
- Kid’s Games:Enjoy kid’s games
- Face Painting:Get creative with face painting in the Gathering Room.
- Cupcake Celebration and Chocolate Factory Sundae Bar:Treat yourself to delicious sweets.
- Guided Prairie Tour:Marlin Johnson will lead a tour of the prairie.
- Behind-the-Scenes Tours:Explore our wildlife rehabilitation hospital, usually closed to the public. Tickets must be purchased in advance (ages 12 and up, limited to 12-15 people per tour).
- Suggested Donation:$2 per person upon entry.
