Saturday, February 13th for our first Facebook Virtual Whoo Loves Wildlife Meet & Greet Event!

Join Erin Toohey, Education Coordinator for the Wildlife In Need Center, for this family fun online virtual meet & greet event, giving everyone the opportunity to learn more about native Wisconsin wildlife and see our live Educational Ambassadors up-close and personal, learn their stories and fun facts about native Wisconsin species. During the event, you will be able to meet almost all the education ambassadors such Marcy, the Virginia Opossum, Chase, the Striped Skunk, Raenah, the Red-tailed Hawk and more.

10:00 am Facebook LIVE with Erin Toohey, Education Coordinator
11:00 am Meet Evie, the Eastern Fox Snake
12:00 pm Meet Chase, the Striped Skunk
1:00 pm Join us for a fun kids Valentine’s craft project
2:00 pm Meet Antoinette, the Western Painted Turtle
3:00 pm Meet Marcy, the Virginia Opossum
4:00 pm Facebook LIVE Meet Raenah, the Red-tailed Hawk

Share your Love for Wildlife… We are inviting all kids and kids at heart to send our Educational Animal Ambassadors Valentine’s cards and artwork. We will display your Valentine’s cards in the center and feature them during the LIVE segment with Erin at 10:00 am. Hurry, the deadline date for Valentine’s is Wednesday, February 10th.

Fun Kids Craft Project
Your kids and grandkids will enjoy creating these adorable Valentine’s Mice. Be sure to tune in at 1:00 pm to join Erin for some creative fun!

Project Materials:
Empty toilet paper roll
Red, pink and white colored paper or construction paper.
Wiggly eyes. Markers or crayons will work too!
