Education: Just the Beginning
The Wildlife In Need Center (WINC) offers educational programming that is designed for flexibility of the presentation to various age groups. We conduct a general program which incorporates information on who WINC is and what we do. Also included in the programs is information about wildlife and human interactions, species identification, natural history, and rehabilitation of Southeaster Wisconsin wildlife.
Programs can be given at your school, community center, or other site. For small groups, WINC has facilities for on-site educational programs. Our programs consist of a PowerPoint presentation, live education animals, or both. Typical education programs at any site run from 30 to 60 minutes in length.
Fees
We request a $200.00 donation for full programs with live animals. This amount is variable depending upon the size of the group, its resources, and the number of animals presented. In addition, consumable items from WINC's Wish List may be donated in place of cash in many instances. Additional donations are always welcome and can be considered taxdeductible.
To set up an educational program just download, fill out, and return the our Education Request Form to our education coordinater, Leslie Kiehl, or call (262) 965-3090.
